Wheelock and Company Limited ("Wheelock" or "the Company") is a property group headquartered in Hong Kong. Building on a commercial heritage that dates back to 1857, the Group is committed to investing in the long term.

In 2020, Mr Peter K C Woo privatised the Company via World International Capital Group ("WICG"). Post privatisation, the Company's entire holdings are now consolidated under a new World International Holdings Limited, the previous name of the Company prior to 1993, and its two arms World International Asset Management Limited and Wheelock Holdings Pte Limited.

Wheelock holds three Principal Companies, namely The Wharf (Holdings) Limited (HKSE: 0004), Wharf Real Estate Investment Company Limited (HKSE: 1997) and Wheelock Properties Limited. The first two are listed and held by the Company under the supervision of WICG and the third one is an unlisted company wholly owned by Wheelock.

Profile of the Principal Companies

The Wharf (Holdings) Limited ("WHL", HKSE: 0004), 68% owned by the Company, is a listed Principal Company established in 1886 as the 17th company registered in Hong Kong. With a proven track record in management and execution, WHL's businesses currently comprise Investment Properties, Hotels and Development Properties ("DP") in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Other businesses include Logistics Infrastructure through Modern Terminals and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals.

Wharf Real Estate Investment Company Limited ("Wharf REIC", HKSE: 1997), 45% owned by the Company, is a listed Principal Company with a proven track record in operating and investing in landmark properties. It is a Hang Seng Index constituent stock on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

As one of the largest real estate companies in Hong Kong, Wharf REIC and listed subsidiary Harbour Centre Development Limited ("HCDL", HKSE: 0051) hold a portfolio of six premier quality assets in Hong Kong including Harbour City, Times Square, Wheelock House, Crawford House, The Murray, Hong Kong, a Niccolo Hotel and Plaza Hollywood; two prime commercial properties Wheelock Place and Scotts Square mall in Singapore; as well as the "Star" Ferry, an icon of the world renowned Hong Kong Victoria Harbour.

Wheelock Properties Limited ("WPL"), 100% owned by Wheelock, spearheads the Company's property development business in Hong Kong. It is one of the top three developers (by gross floor area) in each of the new urban communities of O'South, LOHAS Park, Kai Tak and Wong Chuk Hang.

WPL has maintained its selective land bank replenishment to sustain the development pipeline. As at 30 June, 2023, the Hong Kong DP land bank under WPL's management totalled 6.4 million square feet. It covers a wide spectrum of diverse and quality offerings, ranging from MTR residences and waterfront living, to suburban houses and the exceptional Peak collection.
